Okay, I think I jinxed it since we had a little bit of flurries last week after a beautiful record-high weather the week before that.
Here, let me share my sister’s photo of her deck when it had the flurries.
So I am back wearing the winter outfits – – again. I am super looking forward to spring. In the meantime let’s talk about today’s outfit inspiration.
This is the first time in a very long time since I last wear this white jeans and I am very excited even just by telling this. There is a certain ease in wearing something white in contrast with wearing a coat in the winter. It feels effortless.

High/Low Favorites | Floral Dress Edition
Tell me if it’s just me or you’re also like me. I like to tell people how cheap I bought something or if I bought it on sale. If somebody complements my shoes/clothes/whatever, I’ll tell that person “oh I got it for $15 ☺”. It makes me proud of myself that I didn’t spend that much money to buy it.So today I’d be sharing high/low of the floral dresses that I’ve been swooning for spring look (see post here).One of my go to places to score deals is TJ Maxx. Now, let’s just say the quality is not comparable, for me if the item that I am buying is seasonal, like spring dresses, it’s fine. Because I don’t normally wear my spring dresses all year round. That being said, it makes the clothes last a little longer.One of the things that I also do to keep my clothes last longer is that I air dry them.Finally, since I always want to buy something new every year. Spending $20 versus $120 is a lot better, unless of course if you have the money to burn, then by all means – go for it. I would ♥ What’s your favorite high or low? Our Lazy Boy Recliner Sectional
If you’ve been my reader for a while, you will know that we’ve had red living room set before and then we also had black faux leather living room set too.
The faux leather was ripping off and it was snugging our clothes, so I bought a sofa cover to make it last a little more longer.
We waited until we’re ready to purchase the Lazy Boy recliner sectional. My husband and I have been wanting to have it and we have been looking forward to that day.
That day finally happened.
It is stunning…It is also very comfortable.
We picked the Lazy Boy James reclining sectional and we chose the rich camel leather. Everything reclines except the corner unit.
I will take more photos of our recliner with some updates in our living room, hopefully soon. Things here at home and work..and life in general..is so hectic.
I have returned that white faux sheep skin rug…although it look and feels really soft — it sheds a lot.

Outfit Inspiration | Aztec Leggings with Camel Sweater
We have been very blessed to have a not too bad winter. We are in one of those places that had record-high temperatures, we had 75° in February. A lot of places are experiencing severe winter storms. That’s why I get to wear this kind of outfit in the winter, otherwise, I will be all bundled up with 5 or 6 layers of clothing.
I know my front door decor still says fall – what can I say – fall is my favorite season ♥
Okay, let’s start talking about my outfit. I’ve had this leggings now for almost three years and it is still in great condition and very comfortable.
The secret to making my leggings stay in good shape for a very long time is air-dry. I do load them in the washing machine but I rarely put them in the dryer. I hang them in hangers in the garage and let it air dry. That way the fabric doesn’t shrink or if it does, it will be minimal.
The sweater that I am wearing here was bought from Old Navy, it was an end of season sale last year and it was less than $10. The scarf is my favorite and you probably recognize it because I’ve featured that scarf numerous times in my outfit inspiration.
I like wearing comfortable clothes but it has to look put together. I wore this outfit to work.
